James Frederick (Felphie) Monk, 56, passed away after a brief illness, Wednesday March 13, 2024, at his home in Kingsport.James was preceded in deaths of his father, Jim Monk; his mother, Mickey Monk; his sister, Kimberly Monk Steele, all of Kingsport.James is survived by his son, Justin Monk; stepmother, Yvonne Monk; nephew, Steven Steele; niece, Rebekah Long; grand nieces, grand nephews, and several cousins.The family would like to extend a sincere “Thank You” to Melissa Weatherly and Margo Gounaris for their caring support.The family will hold a private memorial service.Read Obituary
