James Alan Stout, 64, of Kingsport, passed away, Friday, February 2, 2024.He was born in Johnson City and had lived in Kingsport most of his life.James worked as a pressman in many parts of the southeast until his health declined.James was preceded in death by his father, John Edward Stout, Jr.; mother, Evelyn Taylor Widener and brother, John Edward Stout III.Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Jan Stout and Julia Marsh and husband, Bill Marsh.It was James’ wishes to be cremated with no services.The care of James Alan Stout and his family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral and Cremation Services.Read Obituary

Jim was a good friend of ours for many years. He enjoyed the lake, nascar and drag racing. He was full of humor and had a laugh you don’t forget. He will be truly missed. We love you, Jim.
