Joe L. Callahan, 62 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 18, 2024.Joe was born on January 11, 1962, to the late Charles and Shirley Shelton Callahan.He loved watching movies, always had smile on his face, and was known for always saying, “we got it made.”Joe worked at Skoby’s and Asbury Place for many years.Left to cherish Joe’s memory are his wife of 39 years, Janet Parsons Callahan; daughter, Michelle Johnson (Steve); son, Matthew Callahan; sister, Wanda Hammonds; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 22, 2024, in the funeral home chapel.A Celebration of Joe’s life will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Rev.
