Patricia Ann McClellan Stallard, 82, of Gate City, VA passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024.Patricia was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, and she loved to read her Bible.She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Stallard; parents, Augustus “Gus” McClellan, and Hazel Edwards McClellan; maternal grandparents, Hobart and Nellie Edwards; paternal grandparents, Leonard and Bessie McClellan; and her sisters, Rebecca Woodward and Cathy Meade.Those left to cherish Patricia’s memory are her sister, Janelle Bruner and husband, Ronnie; brothers, Roger and Ronnie McClellan; nieces, Donna Elliott, Amy Scott, Laura McClellan, Angie Woodward, and Kristy Jones; five great-nieces; four great-nephews, one great-great-nephew; and one great-great-niece.The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024, in the chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home.A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Dr. Phil Hoskins officiating.The Graveside Service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of the Good Shepherd.Pallbearers will be family members and faithful members of Tabernacle Baptist Church.The family would like to thank the staff of Wilcox Hall W3 of Holston Valley Medical Center for their compassionate care of Patricia.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by visiting, www.stjude.orgTo share memories and condolences with the family please visit www.oakhillfh.comThe care of Patricia Ann McClellan and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.Read Obituary
